About Us

Nordonia Hills Campus Life was launched in 2015 with a Middle School Club. Currently, we run bi-weekly clubs at the Middle School and Lee Eaton. We also offer small groups for middle school boys and girls, as well as activities for 5th through 12th grade students. Check out our calendar for more information!

Campus Life is one part of a larger organization called Youth for Christ. Youth for Christ also has branches reaching into cities (City Life), juvenile correction facilities (Juvenile Justice Ministry), and human trafficking (Grace Haven). Youth for Christ was founded in 1944 and currently has chapters in the United States and all around the world.

Michael Wolfe

Michael Wolfe, Director of Campus Life

Known by students as “Mr. Wolfeee,” Michael has worked with students and families in a variety of ways—directing the Campus Life program in Nordonia, substitute teaching, serving in youth ministry, and coaching running through the YMCA. He and his wife Rebecca have been married since 1998, and they have five children, three of whom joined their family through adoption. Former foster parents, they are aware of the challenges of trauma, neglect, abuse, and the opioid epidemic, and are committed to helping students and families find health. Michael’s education includes a Masters of Divinity from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. In addition to Campus Life, he also serves Nordonia as part of the crisis response team and a board member for both the YMCA and the Emergency Assistance Center. Michael’s favorite hobbies are camping and hunting.
